Which class is right for you? Are you ready to move up? Check out the descriptions of the class levels here!

If you want to be in a Beginning level dance class, there's no audition! You just need to register for Dance 1! However, if you want to learn more about the dance styles studied in Beginning Dance as well as work on your choreography, you will need to audition for Intermediate, Advanced, or RUSH Dance Company.

  Audition and   Workshop Schedule

Auditions and Workshops for the 2023-2024 school year will be in person! You will learn combinations across the floor and in center for your audition. If you wish to be on RUSH, you will also need to schedule a one-on-one interview with Mrs. Carson to apply for a position, and you will need to submit a quality solo recording in the online form. Dancers will be expected to dress so the judges may best see your movement, and will be scored on presentation as well as technical and performance skills. Professional dress includes form-fitting dance attire, all hair clean off of neck and shoulders and away from face, and dance footwear or barefoot.

 Rush Dance Company

Combs High Dancers who have shown the adequate technique for Advanced Dance are invited to audition for RUSH Dance Company! It will be an exciting year, full of performance events and skill building, and we're looking for new members to add to our team!

Want to know if RUSH is right for you?

If you want a place to hang out with friends and socialize while dancing and performing a little, this is probably not the place for you (but check out Dance Club!). But, if you are looking for a dedicated group of athletes working to consistently advance their technique and explore storytelling through movement, you may be a perfect fit!

The audition for the RUSH Dance Company will take place during auditions. Dancers auditioning for RUSH must audition a solo.

Dancers will be expected to dress professionally, and will be scored on presentation as well as technical and performance skills.
